About Orlando International
The seventh busiest airport in the United States, and the busiest single-terminal-complex leisure gateway in the country.
Orlando International is the gateway to Walt Disney World and Universal, and its traffic profile shows it: overwhelmingly leisure, heavily weighted to families, and spiky around school holidays. It served 57.7 million passengers in 2025 and climbed to seventh busiest in the United States.
The airport is really two airports joined together. Terminals A and B share one landside complex on the north side, and Terminal C, opened in 2022, is a separate building to the south with its own roadway, garage and security. Which one you fly from decides where you should park, and getting it wrong means a long transfer.
Because so many MCO passengers are on week-plus family trips, the off-airport park-and-ride market here is one of the most competitive in the country. Long stays are exactly where the gap between an on-airport garage and an independent lot gets widest.
Getting to MCO

Jeff Fuqua Boulevard is the main artery into the airport, reached from SR-528 (the Beachline Expressway) or SR-417. Follow signs for your terminal early: Terminals A and B and Terminal C leave the approach road at different points.
Brightline runs intercity trains directly into the Terminal C station from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, and SunRail connects the wider Orlando region via a connecting bus.
Lynx local buses serve the terminals, and the region's hotel and theme-park shuttles pick up from the ground transportation level.
The cheapest park-and-fly options are the independent lots clustered along the Semoran Boulevard and Beachline approaches, most running free shuttles.
How parking works at Orlando International
On-airport, Garages A and B sit directly against Terminals A and B, and Garage C serves Terminal C. Terminal Top parking and valet are also available on the A and B side. These are the most convenient and the most expensive.
The airport's own economy options are the North Park Place and South Park Place lots, plus West Park, all connected to the terminals by a free shuttle. South Park Place is on the Terminal C side and also takes oversized vehicles.
Independent off-airport lots ring the approach roads and usually undercut the airport's own economy rate, especially on the week-or-longer stays that dominate Orlando traffic.
Tips travelers wish they'd known
- Check which terminal you fly from before you book parking. Terminal C is a separate complex with its own garage, and parking on the wrong side means a shuttle transfer with luggage.
- Orlando trips skew long. The longer you leave the car, the more an off-airport lot beats the on-airport garages, so compare on total price for your actual dates rather than the daily rate.
- Book well ahead around school holidays and the weeks either side of Thanksgiving and Christmas, when the whole Orlando market tightens at once.
- Florida sun is hard on a car left for two weeks. Covered parking costs more but is worth pricing up on longer summer stays.

How early should I arrive at Orlando International?+
Two hours for domestic and three for international, and lean to the longer end in peak family-travel weeks. Add about 30 minutes if you are parking off-airport, for the shuttle and the walk.
Is Terminal C parking separate from Terminals A and B?+
Yes. Terminal C is a separate building with its own roadway and its own garage. Check your terminal before booking, because moving between the complexes with bags takes time.
Is off-airport parking cheaper at MCO?+
Usually, and the advantage grows with the length of stay. Orlando's independent lots compete hard on the week-plus trips that make up much of the airport's traffic.
Can I leave a car at MCO for two weeks or more?+
Yes. Both the airport's economy lots and the independent operators take long stays, and off-airport is normally the cheaper option once you are past a few days.
