Harry Reid International handled just under 55 million passengers in 2025, its third-highest year on record, though down on the peaks of 2023 and 2024. Traffic is overwhelmingly leisure and heavily weekend-weighted, which makes Friday and Sunday the pinch points rather than the weekday mornings that squeeze business hubs.
The airport is remarkably close in. The Strip is a few minutes away, which is why so many visitors never rent a car at all, and why the parking market here is shaped more by residents flying out than by visitors flying in.
There are two passenger terminals. Terminal 1 handles most domestic traffic and Terminal 3 handles international plus some domestic carriers. They are separate buildings with separate parking, and there is no landside walk between them.
Getting to LAS

Reach the airport from I-215, Paradise Road or Swenson Street. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 have separate entrances off the airport roadway, so pick your terminal before you commit to a lane.
There is no rail link to the airport. Ground transport is by bus, shuttle, taxi or rideshare.
RTC buses serve both terminals, including the routes running up Paradise Road towards the Strip and downtown.
Because the airport is so close to the resort corridor, hotel shuttles and rideshare dominate arrivals. Parking demand is driven mainly by departing residents.

Each terminal has its own multi-storey garage with short-term and long-term sections, closest to the doors and priced accordingly. Valet is available and run by a contractor.
The airport also operates an uncovered economy area and a remote lot connected by a free shuttle. Between them the airport has more than 17,000 public spaces across both terminals and the remote lot, running 24 hours.
Independent off-airport operators serve the airport as well, and are usually the value option on longer stays. There is also a free cell phone lot for collecting arrivals.

- Confirm whether you fly from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 before booking. They are separate buildings with separate garages and no landside walk between them.
- Weekends are the crunch here, not weekday mornings. A Sunday evening departure is the hardest time to find a convenient space.
- Summer in the Mojave is brutal on a parked car. Covered parking is worth pricing on longer stays between roughly May and September.
